Blended Facebook Pages: Career Suicide?

by Kandace January 14, 2011

For some, combining a Facebook personal page and a business page is what they prefer. They say “I am who I am and I have nothing to hide. They can like it or not. I am me.” It is my personal opinion (and I must state this caveat to please my attorneys) that doing [...]

Giving Back – How Are You Doing It?

by Kandace December 21, 2010

The holidays – a time to get together with family and friends to celebrate. My favorite holiday memory dates back to 1984 – the Christmas my little sister and I woke up, stumbled out to the living room in our sleepy haze, and were greeted by two mounds covered with sheets. Dad told us which [...]

This Commercial Break Was Brought To You By … Oooh, Pretty!

by Kandace December 1, 2010

Time management … we are all guilty of having issues with it. by Kandace September 21, 2010

Recently, I was asked by Ana-Marie Jones, Executive Director of CARD (Collaborating Agencies Responding to Disasters) a small nonprofit in Oakland, CA to participate in a social media promotional campaign to promote CESA’s (California Emergency Services Association) 2010 Conference in Monterey, CA. I was also asked to be “non-virtual” and attend the conference to help with the cyber cafe. Spelling, It Isn’t Just for Spell Checkers Anymore

by Kandace September 8, 2010

Have you ever made the mistake of relying on your spell checker for accurately spelling everything in your documents?
